This is not a metaphor. Sure, most people think of Cancer as a physical illness or a zodiac sign, but the definition of cancer includes “something evil or malignant that spreads destructively.” Of course, if you have any knowledge of our founding, you know that our founders understood government to be just this. They wrote the Constitution as a prescription to fight it off. And it has worked fairly well despite Washington and the elite establishments contempt for the freedom and liberty it provides the masses, the deplorables as Hillary refers to us. Further evidence of the Washington elite establishment’s contempt for the Constitution are Obama’s words. Obama called the Constitution a series of negative liberties, his term. His exact words were, “the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties. It says what the states can’t do to you. Says what the federal government can’t do to you but doesn’t say what the federal government or state government must do on your behalf.” He went on to opine that it needed to be changed in order for there to be redistribution to his liking. Of course, he found the Constitution constraining and most assuredly wanted to change it. What he didn’t understand (or refuses to accept) is that the Constitution is a list of God given rights. The Government doesn’t give us our rights, God does. It’s pretty basic Americanism, fundamental to our nation and who we are. It’s why I made such a bitch over him saying over and over again that he wanted fundamental change in America. Fundamental is defined as the origin of existence, which is our Constitution – and our last hope to protect us from the cancer of government.
And it is a cancer. Government ravages most everything it touches. Government has destroyed public education. Government has destroyed the prevalence of the nuclear family. Government has waged endless and pointless wars. Government has been a putrid albatross around the necks of industry, innovation, creativity, entrepreneurism, and morality. Basically, government leaves a hellacious debris field behind it wherever it goes. Sure, we need some government. Government is like fire. The right amount of it is good. Too much of it is deadly.
We are in the deadly stage of the cancer called government. Our government is no longer responsive or representative of the voters, if voting even matters anymore, that is. We have a border crisis. A majority of Americans want secure borders. Their wants are ignored, called racist and xenophobic. The majority of Americans want out of the Ukraine. Their wants are ignored and called anti-democratic. Hell, we can’t even get an accounting of the hundred billion plus dollars we’ve dumped into the Ukraine. We have a surveillance state. Our communications are monitored. Our movements are monitored. Our spending, if we use a credit card, is monitored. We are no longer a free nation. Our justice system is in tatters. There are political prosecutions. Trump and Roger Stone are two examples. Violent protesters, i.e. BLM and Antifa, are not prosecuted or if they are, slapped on the wrists. Criminals walk free. The Washington elite establishment confess to crimes on national tv, i.e. Hillary stating that she destroyed documents that were under subpoena, and nothing happens. Clapper, Brennan and Comey lie under oath before congress. Nothing happens. Hunter Biden video tapes his crimes. Nothing happens. The F.B.I. manufactures crimes, i.e. the conspiracy to kidnap the governor of Michigan or the January 6th so called insurrection, and there are no consequences. The justice department targets parents protesting at school boards, or old men praying in front of abortion factories and nothing happens, while at the same time refusing to prosecute real criminals. The IRS targets political groups based on their political positions and doesn’t target others, like BLM, which is almost certainly dodging taxes and committing fraud in order to secure revenue. The energy department is engaging a war on energy, directly demeaning the cost and quality of life for most Americans. The Government is actively attacking morality, Christians, cisgender white people and women, especially female sports. The government is actively promoting a dangerous vaccine, and lying about it on a daily basis without consequence. Our government passed the Affordable Care Act and health care costs sky rocketed. There were no consequences. The Government passed the Inflation Reduction Act and inflation sored. There are no consequences. I could go on and on and on and on. The list is a long one. I’ve just scratched the surface.
The American people have lost faith in government and the endless institutions it has created. And they rightfully should not have faith in government. It is as American as it gets to not trust government. The whole point of our Constitution is that government cannot be trusted. Whether it be the presumption of innocence or the right to remain silent or the First and Second Amendments, all of the Amendments (except the income tax amendment) are drafted to protect us from government. Hey Obama, these are God given rights, not a collection of random superfluous outdated rules that can be cavalierly changed. Change the rules and you’re messing with God, buddy. He should understand this. He went to Harvard after all. That was a joke. When I’m in a deposition with an attorney from Harvard or Yale, they always find a way to tell me of their pedigree within the first five minutes. A common technique is for them to say, “go easy on me, I went to Harvard.” To which I like to respond, “I will. I’ll speak slowly and won’t use any big words.” I always get a stern look when I say this. I always respond with a FU look back. Hell, Bush, Kerry, and Obama were Ivy leaguers, very unimpressive dudes. And a better point, Ivy leaguers are running the world. I do believe the current world status is convincing evidence of the over-rated abilities and intelligence of these stuck-up vile clowns.
And it has never been worse than it is right now. Our Nations’ integrity, security, credibility, economy and status have been trashed by the current set of incompetent clowns pretending to run the show. We are experiencing the greatest threat ever of nuclear war. The world is in chaos. We are on the verge of a world war. It is up to us to hold them accountable, but how? Well, obviously, no single individual can drive to Washington and explain to the scoundrels how God awful a job they are doing. In their minds, they don’t care about us. In their minds, they are doing a swell job. And why not? They have their cocktail parties, insider trading, superior health insurance, power and wealth. What could be wrong about that – for them, anyway?
But not for us. There’s a lot wrong for us. We need to hold the voters, those that vote for these clowns, accountable. We need to fight the cancer where we can and that is in our neighborhoods, in our schools, in our churches, in our clubs and organizations and at the ballot box. It is as if an evil Something Wicked This Way Comes carnival came to town in America that we need to escort out of town. I wish it were that simple. Carnivals leave town on their own. These guys won’t leave without a fight. So fight we must . . . or learn Chinese. I guess that’s an option.
