AMERICA’S FAUSTIAN BARGAIN, A DEVIL’S DEAL.

A Faustian Bargain is a pact whereby a person trades something of supreme moral or spiritual importance, such as personal values or the soul, for some worldly or material benefit, such as knowledge, power or riches.  It is a bargain made with a power that the bargainer recognizes as evil or amoral.  Faustian bargains are by their nature tragic or self-defeating for the person who makes them, because what is surrendered is ultimately far more valuable than what is obtained, whether or not the bargainer appreciates that or not.  Quite literally, it is a deal with the devil.

            And Americans are making Faustian Bargain with Black Lives Matter.  Don’t believe me?  Corporations are genuflecting to Black Lives Matter, an organization founded by trained Marxists who seek to destroy the United States we know and love.  The corporations are doing so because in the short term, they get credit for being “woke,” and that means they won’t alienate their woke customer base, they will make more money – for now.  Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon, Walmart, Target, Home Depot, EA Games, Square Enix, Ubisoft, Etsy, H & M, Everlane, Toms Shoes, Spanx, Levis, Gap Brands, Warby Parker, Lululemon, Nike, McDonalds, Wendy’s, Coca-Cola, Honest Beauty, Anastasia Beauty, Glossier, United Health Group, Whoop, Peloton, NFL, NBA, and MLB are all supporting Black Lives Matter.   There are more, many more.  It is insanely illogical for a business with its lifeblood being free enterprise and capitalism to cower and endorse an organization that seeks the demise of their existence and the end to the freedoms and liberties that provided the canvas for their creation.

Oh, but it’s so woke, right?  Well, no, but Millions of Americans beg to differ, convinced that we are a racist nation and always have been a racist nation.  So, let’s be clear, the nation that went to war over slavery, had the Emancipation Proclamation, the 13^th Amendment ending slavery in 1865, the 14^th Amendment in 1868 guaranteeing due process and equal protection in all states, the 15^th Amendment in 1870 guaranteeing blacks the right to vote, the Third Force Act of 1871 which Grant used to crush the KKK, numerous civil rights acts, ended segregation, Jim Crow Laws, Red-lining lending practices, had a black president and has a national holiday for a black civil rights leader, that’s the racist nation?  Of course, it isn’t, but saying the United States is a racist nation is part of the Faustian Bargain that too many folks are making.  It goes something like this:  Call the United States of America a fundamentally racist nation and the elitist establishment, academia, Hollywood, government and the left will welcome you in, call you brilliant in fact, as long as you return the compliment.  The benefit is acceptance.  The downside or catch is that you have to lie to be accepted and it is a deadly lie.  People have been killed in the BLM protests, people much superior to George Floyd, if you had to make a call.

And just what does the Black Lives Matter group believe?  Well, they believe there is rampant and deliberate violence inflicted on them by the state.  They believe that Trayvon Martin and Mike Brown were victims of racial violence, despite an acquittal of George Zimmerman and the failure to indict Officer Wilson who shot Mike Brown, even after Eric Holder’s Justice Department intervened, hell bent on finding a race crime.  They believe that violence is sanctioned by the state.  They believe that heterosexuals, or cisgenders, are granted privileges.  They intend to free the people from the grip of heteronormative thinking.  They disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable. https://blacklivesmatter.com/what-we-believe/ Basically, Black Lives Matter is against Americanism, whether it be our political system, our culture or our norms.  And Americans are falling in line to lather themselves in guilt for not thinking as BLM thinks, as if it’s some righteous cleansing process that every person must embrace.

So, it’s vogue and woke to call the United States a racist nation.  A riotous protest, filled with property damage, arson and bodily injury is not only justified, it’s virtuous.  Criticizing it is vile proof of that the United States is a racist nation.  Until things are equalized, the outcomes, not the opportunities, see Marx, it is perfectly acceptable to burn things down.  I disagree.  True Americans of all colors disagree too.

Over 700 law enforcement officers have been injured due to the protests.  As of May 31^st, 2020, 15 people have been killed as a direct result of the protests.  The property damages is in excess of a billion dollars, mostly in black neighborhoods. Racial tensions are higher than they’ve been in a long-long time.  The United States is suffering from a collective depression, despair and hopelessness, exacerbated by the Corona Virus, another Faustian bargain the American people just could not refuse to enter into.   And Black Lives Matter hasn’t done a single thing to improve the lives of Blacks.  It is getting clearer by the day that black lives don’t matter to Black Lives Matter, well, unless they can be used to justify the destruction of the United States, then they matter a bunch.  But not if it’s a black child who’s gunned down by another black or a black adult who’s gunned down by another black person.  BLM is silent as to black on black crime.  BLM is silent as to fatherless homes.  BLM is silent as to pathetic public education in urban enclaves.  BLM is pretty much silent as to any of the real harms to black people.  Because they do not care.  They are using black lives to advance their Marxist anti-American agenda, just like plantation owners unjustly and immorally used slaves to advance their financial status.    They are profiting from black lives just like black slave traders profited from slavery.  Black Lives Matter is a racist movement.  It defines itself by race, so by definition, it is just that.    

As we march towards the November Presidential Election, it is uncertain which way the United States will tilt, Biden or Trump.  BLM is all in for Biden and all out for Trump.  BLM is a Marxist driven group, intent on destroying the system that allows them to exist.  Try starting a similar movement in China or Russia or Cuba and see how far you get.  It won’t be far or long before you find yourself in a camp or prison.   Wake up America.  Stand up for your country and its greatness.  Don’t buy into the Faustian bargain, because like all Faustian bargains, they are losers from the get go.  And definitely don’t buy into a candidate who refuses to condemn an enemy of the United States of America, no matter how appealing the front end of the Faustian bargain seems because in the end, when you enter a Faustian bargain you lose, every frickin’ time.
