STOP INVITING THE NAZIS TO DINNER

As one who believes history has a strong propensity to repeat itself, it is my firm belief that the communist movement in the United States is the greatest threat our nation has ever faced.  Sure, there was the War of 1812, the Civil War, World War I and World War II, but in each of these attacks on our foundation, we actually had a foundation, an Americanism constructed of Judeo-Christian values and Constitutional principles which we defended.  There were substantive identifiable battle lines, too, nation state against nation state in all but the civil war and geographic battle lines in the Civil War.  The current war’s battle lines are spectral, hidden within political correctness, accusations of racism, social justice, and false premises.  Make no mistake, whether it be Black Lives Matter, Antifa, Progressives, Socialists, Bernie Sanders and his crew, or even Obama, when you search beneath the surface of their noble sounding peaceful catch phrases, every one of them wants to fundamentally change America into an entity that is, well, not American unless you define America by its borders and not its principles, which isn’t entirely accurate because a strong theme in each of these enemies of the Americanism is the elimination of borders.  The current war is a direct attack on Americanism, which makes sense.  Wars aren’t fought against land masses, names or titles.  They are fought against power and principles. 

By the way, my inclusion of Obama on the list is not a cheap side-swipe.  He said he wanted to fundamentally change America.  Fundamental is defined as the origin of existence.  The origin of existence of the United States is the Constitution.  He also said the Constitution was a list of negative liberties, which is spooky for two reasons.  The first is that the negative liberty he must be referencing is the freedom of the government to do things to its people.  The second is that he obviously believes government is some sort of organic entity that actually has liberties or is entitled to them at least. 

Let’s connect some dots.  Hegel, who influenced Marx, believed that the state was a divine manifestation.  Hegel-Marx-Stalin-Frank Marshall and then Obama, these connections give credence to my belief that Obama was basically carping about the limitations the Constitution places on the government, preventing it from being a divine manifestation.  Contrarily, a true American is thrilled to have a document that restrains government.  Apparently, this isn’t the case with Obama.  He’s disappointed that there are restraints on government, that if only government wasn’t hindered by the paper hand-cuffs of the Constitution, some real change could be accomplished.  By the way, the word Change was a focus of his campaign which reconciles well with his view of the Constitution and echoes something I’ve been screaming for years.

Listen to what people say and write.  They tell you what they are going to do.  Obama titled his book, Dreams of My Father.  His absentee father was an anti-colonialist communist as was Obama’s mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, who was a Stalinist Communist.  Stalinism means a regime associated with terror and totalitarian rule, which, another piece of the puzzle falls into place, explains Obama’s contempt for the Constitution, that pesky road-block in the way of terror ridden regimes and totalitarianism.  And Hitler had Mein Kampf, where Hitler states when assessing the German failure of World War I, “If at the outbreak and during the war, twelve or fifteen thousand of these Hebrew nation-corruptors had been held under poison gas once, . . .” And what do you know, he did just that and more, about four hundred times more, killing around six-million people before the dust settled.  Strangely, Hitler claimed to hate communists, which is peculiar given how much of his agenda was consistent with communism.  In Hitler’s Germany, the State was a divine manifestation (Swastikas were draped over crosses in churches), there was no civilian gun ownership, there was no freedom of speech, the government-controlled industry, and a brutal government security force was created to make sure it all ran smoothly.  It sure sounds a lot like China, Cuba, Venezuela, the U.S.S.R, North Korea, Viet Nam and Cambodia to me.  Sorry Adolf, you might have been projecting there when you claimed to hate communists, you know, hating yourself as you had your genocidal terror ridden global temper tantrum. 

In the last century, communist regimes have killed more than a hundred million people and this is indeed worrisome as BLM violently parades through our cities lathered with adoration from corporate America and its naïve belief that by genuflecting to BLM and Antifa, they will be given a pass.   Do they not realize that at the very soul of the movement they are genuflecting to is the desire to destroy the genuflectors, them?  Ah, but in the short term, it keeps them away.  Not really.  Once, in my twenties, before I was a lawyer (the good old days), I was working carpentry, pounding nails at a summer home on Chambers Island in Green Bay.  The flies were horrific.  We thought that if we dumped some dead fish in the woods, it would distract the flies, pacify them and diminish the flies’ relentless assault on us.  It didn’t.  We got more flies.  They were so bad that I went beyond despising the flies.  I came to partly despise anybody who would endure them by living on the island.  Corporate America should take note of this story.  BLM will not be appeased.  You can’t throw them some dead fish to distract them from their assault on you.  Their assault will grow.  They will demand more and will be taken more seriously, because they’ve got Corporate America with them, right?

And what is BLM?  Who are these peaceful protestors?  What do they stand for?   Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors said that she and her fellow organizers are “trained Marxists.  Cullors was the protégé of Eric Mann, a former agitator of the Weather Underground domestic terror organization, and Cullors spent years absorbing the Marxist-Leninist ideology that shaped her worldview.  Consistent with being a Marxist movement, BLM stands for Marxist principles.  Check them out.

BLM is against the nuclear family.  Its website states,  “We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure.”   Carl Marx wrote,  “On what foundation is the present family, the bourgeois family, based? On capital, on private gain. In its completely developed form, this family exists only among the bourgeoisie.” 

BLM is against individuality, seeing themselves as part of a global black family.  Marx believed that the individual must be swept out of the way and made impossible.

BLM tears down history and cancels culture.  Marx’s communism abolished eternal truths, all religion, morality and acts as a contradiction to all past historical experience.   “In bourgeois society,” Marx wrote, “the past dominates the present; in Communist society, the present dominates the past.”  Does this not fit quite well with the tearing down of statues and the desire to destroy Mount Rushmore?  It does.

BLM never speaks of the United States as anything more than a racist entity that must be eliminated unless it concedes to BLM demands.  “If this country doesn’t give us what we want, then we will burn down this system and replace it,” said Hawk Newsome, chairman of Black Lives Matter of Greater New York.  That sounds pretty clear to me.  Similarly, Marx stated, “working men have no country.  We cannot take from them what they have not got. Since the proletariat must first of all acquire political supremacy, must rise to be the leading class of the nation, must constitute itself the nation, it is so far, itself national, though not in the bourgeois sense of the word.”  So, BLM says,” give us what we want or we will burn down this system and replace it,” and Marx says that they “must first of all acquire political supremacy.”  Implicit in the BLM demand is that the current system must go, a kind of circular statement in that what they are demanding is the end of the system and if they don’t get it, they burn it down anyway and acquire political supremacy.  It’s a “give me your money or I’m going to take it,” argument.  Either way, you lose your money.

So, what do we do?  Here’s what.  We stand on our Americanism and reject BLM, communists, progressives, and all their minions.  We basically stop inviting the Nazi’s to dinner.  Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a protestant theologian in Germany was onto the NAZI fascists from the start.  In the early thirties, he regularly argued with his academic peers that the NAZI’s were a serious force to be reckoned with, not some passing fad made up of benign lunatics that would go quietly into the night.  He lost the argument.  The Germans kept inviting the NAZI’s to dinner until the NAZI’s began inviting themselves to not just dinner, but every aspect of German life.  We need to follow the insight of Dietrich Bonhoeffer.  We need to fight back while we still can fight back.  NAZI’s, Communists, Progressives, Socialists, all of them are similarly driven to destroy Americanism by replacing it with a tyrannical government with divine status.  These are dangerous times. If we don’t do something, if we opt for appeasement, they will become more dangerous, ultimately, deadly.  Never has a communist take-over occurred without people getting killed, millions of them according to history.  In fact, so many people have been killed by communist regimes that the manner of killing has been dissected into classes.  There is genocide, politicide, holocaust, democide, mass killing, repression, starvation, classicide and the catch all, crimes against humanity.  

So, stop inviting them to dinner.  I did as much. I banned my progressive friends from hunting on my land.  As a Christian, if they ever need me, I’ll be there for them.  What I won’t do is enable them by letting them walk my land with weapons the people they support want to take away from them.  I won’t let them hawk their anti-Americanism without consequence.    All true Americans should do the same.  Our American lives depend on it.
