I’M JUST SAYING . . .
More than a decade ago, almost two, I came to the conclusion that the battles of our day could not be defined along party lines. As much as I wanted to herald Republicans as the good guys, a Republican would get caught in a financial or sex scandal. As much as I wanted to believe Republicans were always on the good side, some of them would swing and vote in favor or abortion, higher taxes, open borders, or a take-away of liberties. Both the Bush’s let me down. Senior broke his word and raised taxes. Junior pushed the Patriot Act, the biggest assault on liberties in my life. Sure, it was easy for me to criticize the democrats, but I was never able to condemn all of their politics and philosophies. So, I was stuck without a measuring stick because the Republican-Democrat analysis was incapable of determining who the good guys were – so I stopped analyzing based on party lines. I went to the most fundamental question regarding most everything, good versus evil. Is it a good or evil? This was my new analytical tool.
And it worked. Aborting a child, destroying life, well that has to be evil. Punishing success and rewarding failure through progressive taxation, well to me, that’s evil too. Taking away liberties is for sure evil.
Yet, I know liberals that are the salt of the earth and I know Conservatives that aren’t. Not all conservatives are good people and not all liberals are bad people. In fact, we are all a mix of good and evil. Nobody is entirely good and nobody is entirely evil, well except for Christ and Satan. Even if you don’t buy into the Satan-Christ thing, you’ve got to concede that you believe in good and evil. Sure, you do. Thus, we have two extremes fighting each other, fighting to pull us towards good or evil. It happens on a daily basis for every one of us. Whether it be smoking, drinking, swearing, philandering, being charitable, kind, generous, an endless list, we are constantly making decisions, choosing between right and wrong, good and evil. Sure, the decisions vary in importance. If you’re trying to lose weight but scarf up a bag of Oreo’s, that would be a minor bad decision. If we are Hitler deciding to begin an industrial genocide, that would be a major bad decision. The point I’m making is that life is a struggle between good and evil, right down to the next cigarette, an extra Quarter-Pounder at McDonalds or going to church and right up to taking a hit on a meth pipe or international policy decisions that impact millions of people. It’s all about good versus evil.
Now, I love the United States of America and American Exceptionalism as well. By the way, American Exceptionalism is the cohesive love of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It is not based upon the fact we put a man on the moon and that our houses are nicer. American Exceptionalism refers to our ability to self-govern. And self-government is based upon the Golden Triangle. FYI, the Golden Triangle is virtue, faith and liberty. The Golden Triangle is a necessary ingredient in a population that desires to self-govern. Basically, here’s how it works. To self-govern, you need virtue (religion). Virtue gives us the moral fiber to know right from wrong. If we don’t know right from wrong, the government comes in and tells us. But if we do know right from wrong, because we have virtue, then we don’t require the government to tell us what’s right and wrong and to regulate us. That’s the first leg on the bar stool of the Golden Triangle. The second leg, faith, is our belief in our virtue. If we don’t have faith, then virtue loses its importance and fails to regulate our conduct, and again, government comes in to handle the regulation. The third leg of the bar-stool is liberty. We need liberty to have our virtues remain un-regulated by government. Think government religion for purposes of the analysis. If the government mandates our religious beliefs or morality, well then, we don’t have freedom and then we can’t self-govern. We become subjects, not citizens. So, in a nut shell. Virtue allows and is dependent on faith. Faith allows and is dependent on liberty. And liberty allows and is dependent on virtue. It is circular and solid, as long as you have all three.
But now, we are in jeopardy of destroying our liberty and it is a sound argument that the reason we are risk is because the Golden Triangle is damaged. Religion and Virtue are absent in large part from our lives, and as I said, without virtue and religion, there’s no faith and then there’s no liberty. It’s the path we’re headed down. We’ve lost our virtues, me included for those who are ready to blitzkrieg Facebook with personal attacks on me.
And evil is lurking. Sure, we’ve seen it in action. We’ve seen Hillary and Mario Cuomo gleefully holding hands and celebrating when New York passed legislation that allows a doctor to be free from liability if a baby survives an abortion but dies on the table while the doctor does nothing. We’ve seen Bush giddy when he took away most of our liberty and almost all of our privacy. And now, if Biden gets elected, we will see the end of the America as we know it. Disabling taxation, regulation, abortion on demand, the end of the Second Amendment, racist policies that claim to be the opposite, tax-free status for churches gone, America second foreign policy, socialism, socialized medicine, woke-policy, cultural relativism, anti-American indoctrination in our public schools, and on and on and on, all of these sordid agendas are on the table.
Now, here’s where the Lefties get especially enraged at me. I believe the current agenda of the left is evil, but of course, you already knew that. But understand this: I believe it is evil because it is intent on destroying American Exceptionalism, the collective and cohesive love of the life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I believe it because I’ve seen it. Chaos, mayhem, mob rule, the absence of logic and reason, dishonesty, outright lies, hypocrisy, contradiction, corruption, all of it has been headline news since George Floyd died, actually before that. All of these things have the mark of the devil on them. It’s what he lives for. They are his language of choice. And I believe God has provided some prophecy in this regard, two big ones.
But before I reveal the prophecies, I want to share a story and a couple of historical truths to make a point.
Here’s the story: A guy is on the roof of his house attempting to survive a horrendous flood. He’s praying for help. A log floats by and the guy takes a pass. He could jump on the log but he takes a pass. God is going to save him. Then, a guy in a boat offers help, but nope, the guy on the roof doesn’t need the guy’s help. He’s got God coming to the rescue. Finally, a helicopter hovers overhead and throws down a life line and the guy on the roof again takes a pass because he’s got God coming to the rescue. And then he drowns. At the gates of Heaven, he says, “what happened God? I had faith you’d save me?” God answers, “What are you talking about? I tried. I sent a log, a boat and even a helicopter and you didn’t use a one of them.” The guy ignored what was right in front of him, help from God.
Here’s the history: We humans are always so amazed at what people do, as if we had no idea they would do such a thing. And yet, so often they tell us. Hitler wrote Mein Kampf, providing an outline of things to come – and they did come. Carl Marx wrote about the need to rid society of ten-percent of the people that would refuse to go along with the program. And what do you know? China, Russia, Cambodia, and other communist regimes rid their populations of the undesirables – in the millions. China is still doing it. Obama said he wanted to fundamentally change America. Fundamental is defined as “origin of existence.” In our nation’s case, that means the Constitution. He didn’t, but he sure got the ball rolling. George Bush senior called for a New World Order and ever since then we’ve been struggling to save our nation from being executively blended into the rest of the world through treaties that diminish our independence and Americanism. The point here is that we should watch for signs and listen to what people say, because a lot of the times, they mean it.
Now, to the prophecy.
The slogan of Joe Biden’s campaign is “Battling for the soul of America.” Now, I don’t know about you, but I always believed that my soul belonged to God and not a political campaign, a politician or a government. And if you’re at all Biblical, then you know that Satan is the one battling for our souls in his battle with Christ. Souls are the points on the score board when it comes to the Satan-Christ battle. Now, maybe Joe Biden is just plagiarizing again, you know stealing the devil’s line, but maybe not?
Maybe there’s another clue? Now, if you’ve seen Joe Biden speeches, he is always telling you to text Joe30330 to contribute to his campaign. 30330 is a strange sort of number, isn’t it? Yes and . . . maybe no. Try this. Divide 2020, the year by 30330 and see what you get. Don’t bother, I’ll tell you. You get 0.0666. Ouch. Or, divide 2020 by 666 and see what you get. Again, don’t bother. You get 3.0330, Joe’s text number. Coincidence? Who knows?
I do know what the Bible says, though. It says, “This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.” Revelations 13:18.
I’m not suggesting that I believe that Joe Biden represents the beast or the anti-Christ, but the way that math plays out is, to use a technical term, frickin weird. Take it as you may, ponder it, and draw your own conclusions, because, I’m just saying . . .
