NOW I GET IT.

NOW, FINALLY, I GET IT.

I haven’t blogged in over two months and if you suspect its because of the election, you would be correct.  I don’t accept the results, but this isn’t the point of this blog.  Even so, Dominion being deemed corrupt by Elizabeth Warren, mail in ballots being condemned by Jimmy Carter, Courts, Clerks, Governors and election boards changing voting laws without legislative authority and contrary to a Constitutional mandate, swing states with Donald Trump in the lead shutting down reporting (not counting) and then opening up with Biden in the lead, Courts dismissing law suit after law suit on procedure, standing and laches instead of the merits of cases, statistical anomalies out the yazoo, and so on and so on, forgive me for being skeptical.  But again, this isn’t the point of this blog.  Biden is in and the American Conservatives and Libertarians need to up their game if they ever hope to win another election.

So, to my point.  Biden is in.  The “Democrat” Party has control over the house and senate.  And they have got to work with executive orders, big time.  Here’s a list of the accomplishments since Biden’s inauguration:

1. Shut down the Keystone Pipeline, causing a huge loss of high paying blue-collar jobs, hurting the middle class.
2. Destroyed woman’s sports by allowing men who think they’re woman to compete, hurting woman.
3. Pushing an act that would make voter identification illegal, further damaging election integrity.
4. Opened the boarders to illegal aliens, thereby increasing the supply of cheap labor at the expense of the lower middle class and lower-class workers.
5. Hand-cuffed the INS and ICE from deporting convicted felons, making our country a more dangerous place, in middle class and poor neighborhoods.
6. Embraced hedge funds and Robinhood for shutting down the little guy when the little guy took it to Wall Street, very much hurting the middle class and small investor.
7. Embraced censorship and the freedom of speech.
8. Is holding an “impeachment trial” in violation of the Constitution by allowing a partisan Democrat to magistrate the proceeding rather than the Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court, as required by the Constitution and holding a proceeding where the only sanction available, removal from office, is not available.
   1. Within the trial has abandoned century old rules of evidence.
   1. Held a trial where there is no evidence, just closing arguments.
   1. Changed the reason for impeachment to one not articulated in the articles of impeachment drafted by the House of Representatives;
9. Has characterized anybody who questions the legitimacy of the election as a domestic terrorist, causing a rise in hatred and contempt between citizens.
10. Has determined that the primary threats to national security are systematic racism and white supremacy;
11. Has implemented the racist critical race theory into the government, including the military, which is a de facto racist theory.
12. Banned drilling on Federal land, hurting the middle class and poor.
13. Has done nothing that wasn’t already in the works on Covid, except increased the fear factor and imposed a federal mask mandate on Federal property.
14. Has impeded domestic travel by requiring proof of Covid Vaccinations for U.S. Citizens before flying while not testing illegal aliens coming into our country illegally.
15. Has signaled that the tax increases coming our way will hit the middle class.
16. Has implemented policies that benefit Wall Street and Big Tech, at the expense of the middle class and poor.
17. Has implemented policies, primarily Covid policies, that crush small business and main street economies, hurting the middle class and poor.
18. Has threatened to further restrict travel, suggesting the targeting of Florida, which coincidentally, is run by Republicans and didn’t lock down as much as most other states, Democratic run other states, and has a lesser Covid mortality rate than the states that did oppressive lock-downs, Democrat states.
19. Is bailing out the mis-managed, over-taxed, debt ridden Democrat states.
20. Got us back into the Paris Climate Accord which allows China to pollute more and costs American Jobs, hurting the middle class and poor.
21. Recommitted to the Iranian deal, thereby benefitting a nation that seeks our demise and more so, Israel’s, and will likely result in more conflict in the middle east. 
22. Re-joined the World Health Organization which is run by China, but paid for by us.
23. Imbedded the executive branch with pro-china, pro-war, pro-big government people, which will result in more foreign occupation by our troops.
24. Has increased the troop level in Syria.
25. Begun policies which are estimated to result in $4.00 a gallon gasoline prices, hurting the middle class and poor.
26. Has sent us on a quick path to no longer being energy independent which will result in higher energy costs, hurting the middle class and poor.
27. Has proposed a student loan forgiveness program that will benefit the rich seven times more than the middle class and poor.
28. Has done nothing to unite the country and has worked effectively to further divide the country.
29. Has reinstituted the Obama policy of funding and mandating the construction of low-cost subsidized housing in middle class suburbs, hurting property values of the middle class.
30. Seeks to regulate and destroy the concept of free speech, by firing, doxing, censoring, suppressing, punishing and alienating anybody with a contrary political opinion.

And this list is without a lick of research, right off the top of my head.  Here’s my question.  Why do liberals support these policies?  Why do liberals support a marriage of mega corporations like Facebook, Google, Amazon and Twitter with big government?  I thought liberals hated big corporations.  Why do liberals support the attack on free speech?  Remember Berkley.  Why do liberals support an administration that is going to expand our military presence around the world?  Where is code pink? Why do liberals support open boarders that will hurt wages in the middle class and poor?  I though liberals cared about the poor?  Why do liberals support less freedom over all?  I thought liberals, I mean liberty is the root of the word, were passionately in favor of unabridged freedom?  I thought they hated tyranny and fascism?  Why do liberals support the selective enforcement of laws?  I thought liberals were for equality under the law.  Where are the liberals screaming about the executive orders?  They certainly screamed when Trump used them.  The answer is Liberals don’t support these things.  But, a big one, Liberals and too many Americans are so drunk on the never-ending hate-filled propaganda that they have become addicted to hate.  They crave it and they don’t care what the cost is to get their fix.  They do not want to discuss it.  They refuse to acknowledge the consequences of the policies.  They embrace massive denial.  All they want is to be told that their woes are the fault of somebody else and that it is perfectly acceptable to hate somebody else for their woes.  That’s what “I get.”  I heard it actually said to Mark Stein who was prevailing in a radio debate.  The caller said, when his answers came up short, “My hatred for you is more important to me than any consequences I might suffer from the policies of the left.”  Okay then, that sounds like a good theme to live by.  It’s the theme of the left, the primary theme.

I’ll conclude.  I am not a sore loser and in fact, I didn’t lose.  My business is going great, my fiction writing going strong, and Talkdust.com will be released this year.  I had a great hunting season, went on a ton of scuba dives over the summer, even diving on New Year’s Day (freaking freezing but the coffee after, delicious), and my legs are sore from skiing – a lot.  Times are good for me, my family and a lot of my friends, not so much for our country.  I will survive as will most self-reliant folks who strive to be personally responsible rather than dependent on things of which they have no control over.  We will prevail.  The Left will not.  Philosophically, the Left will never succeed, unless misery is the goal and there’s the philosophical problem, misery is not success.  What’s sad is that so many folks are misguided, hate-filled, and abjectly failing to recognizing the opportunity for triumph, joy, success and most importantly, happiness available to them, if they’d just take a deep breath and be honest with themselves.  People are great, almost all of them.  Whether they realize it or not, well that’s up to them, truly it is.  It’s rather simple. Step One, get your head out of your arsh and be honest with yourself.  Step Two?  See Step One.  You will be amazed at the opportunities the Good Lord has waiting for you.
